Volunteer:

It's the community-driven collaboration and communication that goes on between all these pieces of BIRC&D that make it work.  From Washington, DC down to a couple of people brainstorming over local projects on the Big Island--the whole RC&D network is a powerful way to help people change their communities for the better.  Get involved with the BIRC&D and help make things happen!

All programs and services of the BIRC&D and NRCS are offered on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or marital or family status.

Internships:

Unemployed, but don't want to get used to it and stay in the groove? Independently wealthy but full of ideas and yearn to make them happen?  Love to add an interesting position to your resume? Check with us where you could help. Your expertise or energy may be exactly what we are looking for!

Jobs:

Well, we are working on getting them to the Big Island. Helping to plan for them maybe a good idea to get yourself one in the long run. If you have time and energy to spare, why not make yourself visible in the community? Never know who notices you or what you might learn.

And no, there are currently no paid positions in our office available right now.
